Hey, how are you dune?

My favorite place ever, the white sand dunes in Mui Ne, Vietnam.


You can sit under the sun and watch the wind morph the sand gradually into different ridges, valleys and ripples.



And there are three oasis-like lakes intermingled in the dunes, lotus plants floating along the banks.



None of the environment nearby is desert or sandy; it's as if 5 mile square deposit of perfect, white sand in the midst of an otherwise arid plains, several miles inland from the ocean.

& all you can hear is the wind.
